Why inner child healing is essential?
Sometimes in life we have a feeling inside that something isn’t quite right. It is as if we require a deeper healing and knowledge, however we are unsure where to start. Often the response when asked “what’s wrong” is “I don’t know”. This is true. We don’t know what we don’t know.
Carl Jung discovered the 12 Jungian Archetypes whilst working with Sigmund Freud back in 1907. Together the discovery of child self, adult self and shadow self helped to explain how people become lost without knowing it. How we can lose our identity and begin to wonder “how did I get here” … “this is not what I had planned for my life”.
It all begins with the inner child. Our inner child starts to become manipulated by the adult expectations, with time the shadow self steps in to protect us (unfortunately the shadow self can lead to bad habits, being unhappy, anxious and even depressed). When we discover the inner child’s core message we can then proceed to nurture and heal it. Leading to a happier and more fulfilled adult life.
Jungian thought and archetype: The doorway to knowing yourself – The influence of behaviours.
This presentation will open the doorway to discovering the inner childs path and how to heal it, the adult influences and the reason behind the shadow self destructive ways that amplify internal trauma.
